The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital mission to make sure no child dies from cancer. I have had the opportunity to visit the hospital several times since I started here at WTUG 15 years ago. When I was first approached by a St Jude representative I really had no idea how special this place was. I had heard of it but I did know or have any idea how much they were doing to battle childhood cancer.

What makes this place so special is the way it operates. I could sit here and talk about St. Jude forever. Don’t worry I’m not. I am going to ask you to become a partner in home today. You can do this by calling 1-800-411-9898 or clicking here.

The St. Jude Hospital operates on donations for people like you and I. The cost to operate the hospital is over $2 million per day. And no one is expected to pay. You will never get a bill from St. Jude. They will pay to get you there if you can’t afford it. They will provide a place for you to stay if you should require an extended stay. The only thing you will have to do should you need the services of St. Jude is concentrate on taking care of your child.

The first St. Jude radio-thon two day total was $5,506 June 25, 2004. This is the 11th time we have done a radio-thon. Our goal this year is $200,000 this year. I know together we can do it.
