I have a couple of Caucasian friends that I consult when I want to know something about their culture that I don't quite understand, and they do the same to me. Today, I got the bright idea to let my Facebook friends ask me ANY question they wanted me to answer.I said they could inbox me the question, and I'd answer openly and honestly without identifying the person asking the question. Here's what I got:

Q: Where is your church home?
A: Well, this answer has a few parts.  As a young child, I attended True Holiness Pentecostal Church at 10159 S. Halsted in Chicago.  When we moved to Alabama, I attended Spirit and Truth Pentecostal Church in Aliceville (Back then, the address was Rt.2 Box 63; I'm not sure what it is now).  Since 1998, I've been a member of the Impact Nation Fellowship Church (formerly New Testament) at 1110 26th Ave E in Tuscaloosa.

Q: Are you willing to have another child someday?
A: Not as a single parent.

Q: How freaky can you really get?
A: I'm a lady.... Sometimes.

Q: Do you believe in coincidences? If you do, then this next question won't apply. If you don't, then why do you think God allowed our paths to cross at this particular time? Why not any time sooner, and why at all? What is the blessing/lesson to be received?
A: I do believe some things are coincidences.  However, I don't think that our reconnection was a coincidence.  I think our paths were allowed to cross because years ago, we were great friends who could discuss anything with each other, which caused us to have a trust for each other.  I think that trust is beneficial for us to help each other in new capacities today.  We were not allowed to reconnect sooner because (I don't know about you, but...) I needed the time to mature. Otherwise, our friendship would've been destroyed by other activity.  I'm not sure what other blessings are to be received or lessons to be learned as a result of our reconnection, but I do think that there is a blessing in knowing that genuine people exist.

Q:  Have you ever cheated on a contest to have a friend win?
A: As much as I love my friends, I love my opportunity to serve the Black community more. So, I'd never put myself in a position to lose my job.

Q: With a beautiful woman like u. Why you haven't found Mr. Right?
A: Because I'm not looking for him.  I'm just working on being the best me I can be and improving upon myself so he'll find a prize when he comes.  No sense in looking for Mr. Right if I'm not going to give him Ms. Best!

Q: If you could do it all over, would you remain in public relations?
A: ABSOLUTELY!!!! There is no greater feeling than knowing that you've given a person beneficial information that they may not have gotten if it wasn't for you.

Q: Do you know you're prettier in person? Your profile pic doesn't do you justice. I saw you @ my job one day.
A:  Coming from a woman, that is so flattering because I know you're not saying it to get brownie points. Thank you so much, and I had no idea. I thought I looked better on pics because I take about 35 before I find one that I think captures my best assets in the right light.

Q: If you could describe yourself using an item of food, what would you be and why?
A: A sweet potato! They're naturally sweet, but you can add things to them to make them better.  They're versatile, and every now and then, you come up on one that no matter how much you add to it, it just doesn't taste quite right.  LMBO!!!! IJS, I have my bad days just like anyone else, but you can't always tell I'm a little bitter by looking at me.

This has been so fun.  I think I'll do it from now on.  If there's anything you want to ask me to get my honest opinion or if there's something you'd like to know about me, inbox me on Facebook, email me at jade.nicole@townsquaremedia.com, or log on at http://www.wtug.com and contact me there.
