Confession: I never watch the first half of a Tide game because I don't know what Coach Saban says in the locker room during halftime, but that's usually when the real game begins. However, I did glance at the tv a few times before the 3rd quarter , and I know I can't be the only person who was near conniption during the 4th quarter of the game!

During the 3rd quarter, I'll admit that I got a bit nervous.  I mean, it was a REALLY close game, and because analysts had already said that Clemson's defense could be a game-changer as it might be a force to be reckoned with for our offense, I still held onto hope that we would win, but I knew the Tide would have to fight for it.

So, with 2:00 or so left in the game, we scored!  I just knew the game was over.  Said I was going to sleep.

Somehow, Clemson pulled out another touchdown, and their celebrations began. (Hee-hee-hee)  Apparently, nobody told them that you should never count out the Crimson Tide as long as there's time left on the clock.

Man, Bama pulled out that win and Clemson's tears of joy quickly had new meaning. However, they displayed real class in congratulating OUR CHAMPIONS!

I turned over and went to sleep with a smile on my face. What happened when I woke up is a totally different story!

[Notice how I didn't even mention Ciara.... Oh, yeah, I saw it.]
