Imagine you just chilling sitting with your girl friend or significant other in a parked car at the gas station, shopping or just relaxing. A Car pulls up and fires into your car and robs you? Well That's what Happened last week to a couple in Mc Calla, and the reason I mention Mc Calla, because although it's not Tuscaloosa County, it's still relatively close to us.

Authorities have announced three more arrests in the death of an 18-year-old girl from McCalla.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Lipscomb police say Adam Decoreyea Smith, 23, of Bessemer, Richard Steven Martinez, 20, of Lipscomb and Courtney Brianna Devaughn, 22, of Center Point are charged with capital murder during a robbery and attempted murder.

Last Friday authorities announced the arrest of Anthony Dewayne Smith, 20, of Fairfield. He is also charged with capital murder.

All four suspects remain in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.

Sparks was shot December 7 in Lipscomb around 10 p.m. on Circle Avenue.

She was with her boyfriend when two men came up to their car and fired into the vehicle. The couple drove away and ended up at a convenience store when authorities arrived. Sparks' boyfriend survived non-life-threatening injuries, but Sparks later died at a hospital.

These streets are real these days, I ask and say again, please be careful throughout this holiday season.
