You can expect the Glitzy White Extravaganza to “provide an evening filled with glamour, excitement, and meaningful connections,” according to a press release from the BFSA.

“Attendees can expect a delightful experience featuring food, beverages, entertainment, and engaging networking opportunities while enjoying the breathtaking backdrop of the Black Warrior River.”

Since the early 70s, BFSA has been rooted in serving as an advocate for educational equity, with emphasis on African-American students and the professional needs of its members. The inaugural Scholarship Glitzy White Extravaganza helps support that mission and you can help impact and empower students.

“Scholarships make it possible for students to focus on excelling academically without the burden of financial struggles weighing them down,” said Vonda James, chair of the inaugural event.
