Bojangles Lands DJ Dale and Malachi Moore To Name, Image and Likeness Deals
In the age of Name, Image and Likeness, Alabama athletes stand to cash in off playing for the nation's best football program. Popular fast-food chicken restaurant Bojangles has stepped into the game by adding two Alabama defenders to its roster to help promote a new menu item.
Alabama defensive lineman DJ Dale and defensive back Malachi Moore both announced on their own social media partnerships with Bojangles while eating its new fried chicken sandwich menu option.
Both Dale and Moore are expected to be prominent members of the Alabama defense this fall. They are two of six Alabama defenders to be named to the Nagurski Award Watch List
Moore was named to the Preseason All SEC First Team and Dale was named to the Preseason All SEC Third Team.
Bojangles is now one of many partnership agreements that Moore has announced since the beginning of July. He is available on Cameo for messages, is partnered with MyGamedayShop and was quickly added as the Alabama representative of Milo's Tea.
In two seasons with the Crimson Tide, Dale has accumulated 39 tackles with two passes defended and two fumbles recovered with one sack. Moore in just one season has tallied 44 tackles with nine passes defended, he picked off three passes and forced and recovered one fumble while also scoring a defensive touchdown.
