On Monday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, sophomore quarterback Bryce Young will attempt to become the 18th player to win a Heisman Trophy and a national championship in the same season.

Young will take on the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs, a team he torched in the SEC Championship Game, and attempt to uphold his status as the best player in college football.

"Our mindset is just all about the game. Obviously this is what you work for the entire season. I know that's what our goal has always been. So we understand that this is a business trip," said Young.

"It's all for all of us, it's all about -- it's all about the game on Monday. So it's a pretty simple mindset. It's not complicated at all. We all know what we're here for. And it's all about getting better and doing what we have to do to put ourselves in the best position when Monday comes."

Young avoided the Georgia pass rush in the SEC Championship game and set a title game record 421 passing yards while rushing for a season-high 40 yards while also accounting for four touchdowns, three in the air and one on the ground.

The California-native knows the championship will come down to whether he can continue to correctly read the nation's No. 2 ranked defense.

"For me, it's just about doing all I can to execute the game plan. Taking what the defense gives. Just executing the calls and the reads as they are," said the Heisman Trophy winner.

If Young can read Kirby Smart's defense and take advantage of the soft spots that it allows it will go a long way towards Alabama's hopes at claiming national championship No. 19.
