Bryson Tiller nabbed his first no. 1 album ever with his latest release, True to Self.

Billboard reports that Tiller's latest project, which dropped May 26 earned 107,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 1, according to Nielsen Music. Tiller surprised fans with the release, dropping it a month earlier than expected, earning an enthusiastic reaction from his fans who are enamored with the singer/songwriter's emotional brand of relationship honesty.

The album is a study on love and relationships—the ups and downs and in betweens, the late night texts that you know you don’t have any business sending, the reminiscing on the good times, the incessant wondering about what went wrong—it’s all there in Tiller’s 19-track offering.

So far, he's already dropped a video from the album, "Something Tells Me," which finds him photographing beautiful women in the melanin-rich clip. He also announced that he's hitting the road for the Set It Off Tour this summer, which kicks off on Aug. 3 in Atlanta.

True to Self follows Tiller's 2016 debut, TrapSoul, which peaked at no. 8 on the charts.
