Celebrate Fat Tuesday Tuscaloosa Style!

Happy Fat Tuesday! May you over-indulge on all your favorite things today and tonight.

Many people don't know, but Mardi Gras originated in Mobile, Alabama.But, if you don't have the time or means to travel 200 miles, well Tuscaloosa has your covered for the night.

There are different bars and restaurants celebrating Fat Tuesday all night. It's no New Orleans, but it will do!

Wilhagan's is having free poker tonight, along with $4 Hurricanes ( a Mardi Gras specialty). The sign-up for poker begins around 6PM, with a chance for someone to win $100!

The Levee Bar & Grill will be serving up New Orleans style food all week, including seafood gumbo, beignets, creole surf and turf, and more!

301 Bistro,Bar,and Beer Garden always has cajun inspired food on their menu, from the gumbo to the Voodoo BBQ chicken there is something you will enjoy!

There maybe no beads in the street, or drunk people walking around aimlessly, but there is still fun to be had for Fat Tuesday in Tuscaloosa!
