Swag Kelly calls current Ole Miss starter, junior Matt Corral, "the truth". Corral through three games has passed for 997 yards with nine touchdowns, he's also rushed for 158 yards with another five touchdowns while getting the Rebels off to a 3-0 start.

DraftKings Sportsbook has moved Corral up to No. 1 in the gambling odds to win the Heisman Trophy ahead of Alabama sophomore quarterback Bryce Young. In the 2020 matchup between the two schools, Corral passed for 365 yards with two touchdowns while rushing for 40 yards in a 63-48 loss in Oxford.

Lane Kiffin and Corral come in after enjoying a BYE week in Week 4, the former Saban assistant will look to be the first former assistant coach to defeat the six-time national champion.

Kelly led the Rebels, under the direction of Hugh Freeze, on the road against the Tide in October 2015 by passing for 341 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 21 yards and another touchdown. He surprised the Tide and pulled off 43-37 victory, good for a second win in two years for the Rebels.

The following year the Tide got its revenge on Kelly, defeating Ole Miss 48-43 in The Grove. Kelly still played well in the 2016 game passing for 421 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 43 yards. Kelly was 14-8 as a starter during his time with the Rebels.

The Rebels haven't won a game against Alabama since Kelly pulled off the upset in 2015. The Tide holds a five-game winning steak over Ole Miss and currently leads the overall series 52-10-2.  Alabama is 12-2 against Ole Miss while under Saban's direction.
