Christmas on the River Schedule Released

The holidays seem to bring out the best in all of us, and nothing brings communities together like Christmas functions!

One of the most popular events in West-Central Alabama is Christmas on the River in Demopolis. Visitors come from all around to enjoy the festivities.  This year's event will kick off Wednesday, December 4 and will run through Saturday, December 7.

Perhaps the most popular day is Saturday, which includes a 5K run/walk, open house events, a barbecue cook off, day parade, and a nautical parade.

This year's day parade is sure to be well attended, as it has been announced that the Jefferson Davis High School Marching Band will be involved.  The band recently went viral as one of its drum majors has captured massive interest.

Go ahead and make plans to enjoy the time with your family and friends.  Such events come but once a year. You don't want to miss it!
