Fall Is That You? Expect Cooler Weather Across West Alabama

Did you walk out the door this morning and think, “Fall is that you?”

Because I sure did. There was an extra pep in my step this morning. The air felt just a tiny bit different, and I was ready to welcome it with open arms.

I even declared that at 70 degrees, it might be time to put up the Christmas Tree. Joking (kinda).

Now, let’s be clear, “cooler” is a relative term in the South. Anything 90 degrees and under can qualify as cooler after the never-ending heat advisory that we called “summer.”

But, like many Alabamians, I’ll take it.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham even said, “Cooler Weather is Here.” Residents should expect seasonable temperatures that will last through the weekend.
