I love haters.

I truly do. ALL OF THEM. Especially 'Bama haters. More on that in a minute.

It wasn't easy to arrive at that place of enjoying the ill-wishers.

The turning point for me was the realization that it is a beautiful complement. In one regard, you have indeed taken up residence in your hater's minds. They should try and charge you for rent.

Jealousy and hatred are interesting bedfellows. I have found they typically are a package deal—99% of the time; it’s based on hatred of people that are more successful or happy.

Check out the latest "hater", causing a commotion, and his...song? "I Hate Alabama".

This brings me to my beloved Alabama Crimson Tide.

With success comes a lot of incredible fans, bandwagon fans, and haters. It’s not just us. Look at the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Lakers (at one time), the Duke men’s basketball team, and even in music….uh…dare I mention Nickelback?

Yeah, that’s right—pure hatred.

However, the Dallas Cowboys are consistently the most valuable pro sports franchise (worth over 5 billion dollars) year after year. That inspires lots of haters, yet the Cowboys television broadcasts consistently are the highest rated in all of the NFL.

That’s true again in 2021. Much of the same thing applies to the Yankees, Lakers, Duke, etc.

Nick Saban is the best college football coach (and recruiter) in the history of the sport. It’s not close. That's my opinion.

Bear Bryant is the second best, but I believe it’s a big gap.

It’s funny how I don’t remember these hate Bama songs being so popular when Shula was coaching the Tide. I’ve lived here during some pretty lean years that I’ve tried not ever to forget.

I want to enjoy how incredible this run is with my Crimson Tide! Losers aren’t working as hard as Coach Saban.

They're at home writing “I hate Alabama” songs. So try not to let those same losers get you down about our Alabama Crimson Tide and in other areas of your life. You can’t fix stupid. I have learned that the hard way.

If the haters and losers were intelligent, they’d shut their mouths and put it all out on the field. Jimbo Fisher! Ya listening???
