Dennis Edwards Dead at 74
Breaking: Dennis Edwards, former lead singer of The Temptations has died in Chicago - per family. He crooned the world over with “Cloud Nine" - “I Can't Get Next to You" & “Papa Was a Rollin' Stone.”
He was 74. Tomorrow, Feb 3rd. Edwards would have been 75.
The Birmingham native joined the group in 1968, according to Rolling Stone. He sang with the group for close to a decade before leaving the group only to return in the early 80’s.
Edwards also made a name for himself as a solo artist with the hit “Don’t Look Any Further.”
