Denzel Davis Memorial Health Fair At Stillman College

THE DENZEL DAVIS MEMORIAL HEALTH FAIR COMMITTEE

Stillman College is hosting its inaugural Denzel Davis Memorial Health Fair on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on the Quad.  Set-up and vendor registration will begin at 8:30 am. The event is free and open to the public.

Denzel Davis was a Stillman student committed to service for the common good.  He encouraged his peers to achieve academically, and serve others.  A few of Denzel’s affiliations included the Student Government Association, Student Orientation Leader, and section leader in the Stillman College Choir.  Denzel was a gifted musician and shared his talents with local churches as a choir member and guest soloist. As a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Collegiate 100, Denzel mentored young men of color, promoted integrity and academic excellence to high school and college students.  Sadly, Denzel died in October 2018. The Denzel Davis Memorial Health Fair honors this remarkable young man by providing screenings and wellness education to students and the west Alabama community.

The community is invited and most welcomed. Our hope is to encourage, educate and invigorate each other to invest in preventive measures that will promote good and/or improved health.
