Deontay Willder Scores 9th Round KO Against Eric Molina

Congratulations go out to Tuscaloosa’s Deontay Wilder the WBC World Heavyweight Champion.  It was a good fight. The champ once again proved he is worthy of being the WBC World Heavyweight Champion.

What’s next for Deontay? Deontay has told me on several occasions that he wants to fight as often as it makes sense.

He has a mandatory fight he has to make against Alexander Povetkin of Russia; negotiations on that fight may not start until October.  The other two belts holder Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko have been mentioned as possible opponents.

Deontay has expressed a desire to get in the ring again as early as September.
