Do You Recognize These Hip Hop Fashion Trends?

There are so many hip hop fashion trends. Through the years, artists in hip hop have influenced so many styles.

Being a DJ, I've always been influenced by hip hop culture. The culture even influenced some of my favorite movies like The Wood, Juice, 8 Mile, Breakin', and so many other classics. Of course, we know that hip hop has influenced some of the biggest fashion trends too. Remember Nelly made it cool to rock a band-aid under your eye? Even though we didn't even have a reason, we were rocking band-aids. BAND-AIDS! We can't forget the rubberband necklaces made famous by Soulja Boy. The early 2000s were a wild time.

There were plenty of other hip hop fashion trends that weren't bad at all. Fitted hats, throwback jerseys, and even hockey jerseys were trending at one point. I remember watching Kris Kross videos wanting to wear my clothes backward.

I want you to think about all of the trends you really loved growing up. How many of them would you rock today? If it's anything like some of my past trends, you probably want to leave them in the past. Hip-hop is responsible for some of the most iconic fashion trends. Let's check out some of the most memorable fashion trends in hip hop.
