Does Your School District Have Experienced Teachers

Are your children being taught by the best teachers? I’m sure you would like to think so. There are seven school districts in Alabama that had 20 percent of their classrooms led by teachers with a year or less experience.

The largest percentage of inexperienced teachers can be found in these five school districts.  Tuscaloosa, Huntsville, Saraland cities – 20 percent , Chickasaw City – 37 percent, Satsuma City – 29 percent, Lanett City – 27 percent and Leeds City – 21.
