Don’t Buy Pre-Packaged Caramel Apples
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has just released a statement urging consumers to not buy any pre-packaged caramel apples.Health officials confirmed that they were the source of an outbreak of listeria, a serious bacterial infection. This comes at a time where candy apples are a Christmas treat. It was noted that fresh apples made into caramel apples pose no threat.
