Ebony Rice Honored as Black History Maker of Alabama

92.9 WTUG, Praise 93.3, and 105.1 The Block in partnership with Robinson Automotive, the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Delta Phi Lambda Chapter, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Eta Xi Omega Chapter, along with Lanier Automotive, Bryant Bank, and Dixie Motors in Northport, we are proud to salute Ebony Rice.

Ebony Rice is an advocate for activism in Tuscaloosa against racism. In recent events, she has used social media as a platform to call for boycotting several local businesses. She continues to assist with organizing and participating in several community service projects and protests throughout the area.

Ebony served in the Alabama Army National Guard for a total of five years. She is a Hillcrest High School graduate and is currently enrolled at Stillman College. She wishes to pursue a career in Social Sciences. In addition to being an advocate for social justice, Ebony also promotes the importance of health in the African American community. She is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer and wishes to spread awareness on the significance of fitness.

Ebony will always be a supporter of racial and gender equality. Her position in the community has given many young adults the confidence to voice their concerns on racial injustices. She is passionate about her efforts against racism and is excited about the improvements in the Tuscaloosa area.
