Elizabeth Baptist Church Hosts 120th Northwest District Annual Session

Elizabeth Baptist Church will welcome church leaders and members from across Alabama for the 120th Northwest District State Annual Session, an auxiliary of the Alabama State Missionary Baptist Convention, July 13 to 15.

The press release said that “The three-day convention is expected to bring hundreds of pastors, church leaders, delegates and visitors from across Alabama to the City of Tuscaloosa.”

Centered on the theme of the "21st Century Baptists: Seizing the Promise While Standing on the Principles,” attendees will experience worship, spiritual renewal, Christian education, fellowship, and ministry.

Attendees can expect inspirational preaching, dynamic worship services, leadership development, auxiliary meetings, and opportunities for fellowship throughout the convention.

The public is invited to attend several featured events during the convention. Elizabeth Baptist Church is located at 2650 Elizabeth Street, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401.

• Speaker: Sister Josephine Swift, President, Northwest Women's Auxiliary

3:00 p.m. – Northwest District Presidential Address

• Speaker: Dr. C. Jermaine Turner, President, Northwest District
