Tuscaloosa, Alabama Affected as Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp Simultaneously Crash
Three social networking giants are experiencing worldwide issues Monday.
Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp each announced on their Twitter accounts that their apps and websites are down. The reason for the crash is unknown, and it is unclear when the issues will be resolved.
Instagram and Whatsapp are both owned by Facebook, and it seems as though the blackouts occurred at the same time Monday. Facebook Messenger is also included in this error.
Facebook is the world's largest social media company, gaining the title after acquiring Instagram in 2012 and Whatsapp in 2014.
