One thing about Tuscaloosa, is that there's always a good local restaurant with delicious food on every corner.  So what happens when the University of Alabama decides to test out food trucks on campus? Well I'd call it convenient deliciousness.

The current options on campus are all chain restaurants, and that's fine - but nothing beats out supporting local. I always say local spots put more love and care into making their food. The students on University of Alabama's campus can certainly agree.

The university came up with the idea after a dining survey came back with what students would like to see on campus. Last week, they began testing out the food trucks from local eateries like, Jo Jo's Food Truck, Archibald and Woodrows BBQ, and Local Roots. The turnout was amazing and lines formed around the block.

Some of the food trucks will even offer late night options for students too!
