Former Alabama linebacker Trey DePriest, 28, was arrested on Thursday morning by U.S. Marshals in Springfield, Ohio.

DePriest was on the run stemming from charges filed on Nov. 11 in Detroit. According to online court records, he was wanted for armed robbery, assault and felonious assault.

According to Detroit police, DePriest and an accomplice forced their way into a hotel in the 3200 block of East Jefferson Street. The pair, allegedly, attempted to rob the victim and one of the suspects shot the victim. The 27-year-old victim took himself to the hospital and has since been released.

Police are continuing to search for DePriest's accomplice, Adrian Chilton. As of Friday afternoon DePriest was still being held as an inmate in the Clark County Jail.
