Former Tuscaloosa High School Students Giving Back To Alma Mater

It's homecoming season in West Alabama and Paul W Bryant High School's campus has been electric all week for their homecoming.

Two of our interns here at Townsquare Media are proud alumni of Paul W Bryant High School.

Dayton Frierson, stage name (D5), and JoshuaEric Taylor, stage name (KA$H) went back to their alma mater to meet with some of their peers who now are employees at Paul W Bryant.

The goal? To make sure the current students have the best homecoming week in history.

“It’s a blessing. To leave a mark on people to the point where they won’t forget you is an amazing feeling," said JoshuaEric.

Dayton and JoshuaEric will have the opportunity to provide entertainment for the homecoming pep rally as well as the homecoming dance which will take place immediately after the football game on Friday night.

"Just blessed and thankful for the opportunity overall," is how Dayton described the feeling of coming back to Bryant.

As part of their homecoming festivities, Paul W Bryant High School will also be having a homecoming parade where their feeder school Eastwood middle will be in attendance.

"I’m happy to get to provide any type of help to my high school in any way possible but especially for homecoming because it’s the best time of the year," said JoshuaEric

Dayton shared his excitement as the unofficial hype man of Bryant, "Feels good to be doing this at the school I started at and it’s even more special still being considered the 'hype man' of Bryant lol"
