Community service is something that I love to see around West Alabama. This area fraternity will soon host a community event targeting local teens.

The Delta Phi Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc will host a virtual event on Facebook live on Saturday, November 13th beginning at 10a. The event is specifically for youth ages 12-18 and will feature guest speakers on three panels.

Each panel will include 2-3 guest speakers in the areas of medical, legal, and moralistic.

The program aims to provide education for young people on sexuality, parenthood, and their roles in relationships. The program also hopes to motivate young people to make decisions about their goals and values and act in ways that support their decisions.

Now more than ever, our youth need guidance and great examples on how to maneuver through life. With the idolization of celebrities and the influence of social media, our youth can draw influence from anywhere. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but I do think it heightens the probability of a negative influence more often than a positive one.

Ridiculous Definitions for "Roll Tide" Found on Urban Dictionary

Let's face it, at least six times a year someone asks an Alabama fan "What does Roll Tide even mean?" It's kind of funny to her people create their own definitions. These Urban Dictionary definitions may be the worse by far.
