
Free Meals and Snacks Offered to Pickens County Youth
Remember this summer, when parents were excited about school starting so they could save money on groceries? Well, now that expense is being decreased even more for the youth of Pickens County.
As part of of a program which makes sure people ages 18 and under receive proper nutrition, meals are being served Monday through Friday in the hours just after school. In addition, meals are also offered on the weekends in Aliceville.
