The Friends of the Library Bookstore is hosting their “Christmas in July” sale. It is a great way to stock up on Christmas-related books, movies, and music for all ages. This sale runs now until July 29.

The volunteer-operated bookstore is located at the Tuscaloosa Public Library on Jack Warner Parkway in the left back corner. Book selection is supported through donations from estates and individuals. Also, please remember there is no access to the bookstore inside the library.

Their Facebook Page post said that they are “more than jolly” about the Christmas in July sale.

Christmas Fiction and Nonfiction Books - $1.00

Christmas Movies and Music – 50 cents

Hours of Operation

Sunday and Monday: Closed

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Over the last several years, “the Friends of the Library has contributed over $80,000 annually to the Library.”

2023-2023 Rising Star Character Students of the Month

During the 2022-2023 school year, Tuscaloosa City Schools, along with Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa, Legal Services of Alabama and Child Abuse Prevention Services, will highlight Rising Star Character Students of the Month from each school in the district, highlighting two to three students each month.
