It's the holiday season and it seems that most of our extra money is going towards making sure our family members have the gifts they've been asking for.

But what's making a comeback? High gas prices. One thing I've noticed about people in Tuscaloosa, is that a lot of people commute to Birmingham and places in between to go to work.

The rise of gas prices is because they are not producing as much oil as normal, which means gas could reach $3 by January 2017.

Compared to last year, Alabama gas prices are up 23 cents, which really adds up at the gas tank.

Some gas stations have started a fuel rewards program, as long as you use their gas, you get cents off. Even Winn-Dixie grocery stores has a fuel program. Also, think about carpooling with a coworker, especially if you live near each other.

How are you saving money at the tank?
