When Red Mountain initially released its 2018 list of concerts for the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, there was a great uproar from the urban community about no shows for urban audiences. Now, two shows have been added for April; one is gospel, and the other is for the FUNK at heart!

Saturday, April 7, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Morris Day & The Time, Sheila E, & Doug E. Fresh will perform in Funkaloosa at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater!

If there was ever a problem keeping the aisles clear at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater (which there usually isn't), this is one show where everybody already knows to stay out the way when a particular song is performed.

This is one concert where just sitting in your seat will be almost impossible, especially when you have the high energy of Morris Day & The Time...

Tickets go on sale Friday, February 16 at 10 a.m. However, you can win them before you can buy them. Listen to WTUG for a chance to win your tickets. Beginning Monday, we will give away tickets for the first five rows between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.  We will also give away a pair of tickets each afternoon.
