Heads Up: Marginal Risk for Damaging Winds, Hail in Portions of Alabama
Another day of hot temperatures and high humidity. Please be aware that heat index values could reach 105 degrees. In addition, there is a chance of active weather today and there is a “Marginal Risk Area” for portions of the Townsquare Media coverage area.
The National Weather Service in Birmingham said that “scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop through the afternoon, with activity expected to continue into the late evening hours. Plenty of moisture and energy will be present for the potential for microbursts in any stronger thunderstorms.”
