Heat Advisory For Saturday, September 7^th

There is a heat advisory in effect for Saturday, September 7^th from 9 am to 9 pm.  Conditions will be very hot and humid across our listening areas.  The heat index could reach as high as 107 today.  Heat-related illnesses are severe and you should be prepared.  .  Drink plenty fluids, if you must be outside take frequent breaks, do not leave anyone (animals included) in a parked car, wear lightweight clothing, and know the signs of heat stroke. 

As the heat index is on the rise, there is a chance of isolated damaging straight-line winds and large hail possible this afternoon into the evening.
