Albertville teacher,David Darden, was arrested a few days ago for allegedly selling drugs. He has been with the school system for 25 years. He sold steroids to undercover narcotic detectives. Darden was arrested and charged with 8 counts, including unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a a controlled substance.

The school superintendent made it very clear that no students were involved.

Darden was released on $150,000 bond. A substitute is currently teaching his class.

I'm not for sure how teachers were back in the days, but some of the behavior I am seeing lately is pretty scary. We send our children with these people for 8 hours a day and you don't know who could be teaching your kid. From teachers hooking up with students, to selling drugs part-time, its all very scary.
