I Remember Where You On Saturday Afternoons

When think about music in the old days, you had big bands with a full horn section and a big sound.  The sound was pure with what seemed like at the time endless amounts of energy. I’m talking groups like the Ohio Players, Cameo, Lakeside, Rick James & The Stone City Band, and of The Bar-Kays and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.  Every Saturday at 2pm where I lived we were in front of somebody’s TV watching the hippest trip in America.
