Info for American Idol Hopefuls

I've received numerous calls this morning, asking about how registration for those wishing to audition for American Idol. Registration will begin at 8am at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on Wednesday, August 21.  Those wishing to audition are asked not to be at the location before that time. However, those wishing to audition should not come too late, as there is a limit on how many people will be seen.  Tuscaloosa auditions are expected to last only one day, but that may change at the discretion of the show's producers.

Those under the age of 18 should have a parent or guardian with them.  If a parent or guardian cannot attend auditions, the minor may still audition.  How this situation should be handled along with other questions about auditions may be found here.
