Investigators Release Photos of Possible Church Shooting Suspect
Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Police Department and the area's multi-agency Violent Crimes Unit have released photos of a man and vehicle who may be connected to a shooting at a church Sunday afternoon.
Captain Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says a small four-door car, possibly maroon in color, stopped adjacent to the Central Church of Christ at 304 Hargrove Road in Tuscaloosa at approximately 8:20 p.m Sunday, December 1st. An occupant of the vehicle fired a shot into the back entrances of the church before leaving the scene.
There were classes and Bible studies being conducted inside, but no one was hurt. A glass door was shattered by the bullet.
