Ok Folks, It's starting to get a little serious out there regarding tomorrows possible winter storm, here's the latest.

There were significant changes to the forecast at 1100 NWSBMX Briefing.

o   Bibb, Dallas, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, Sumter and Tuscaloosa are now highlighted in the Winter Storm Watch.

o   Snow bands will enter the Shoals are around daybreak Friday.

o   Scattered snow flurries or sleet/snow mix possible over Pickens and Tuscaloosa Counties by 0700 Friday.

o   Computer models are showing a hole in the winter weather coverage are across Northern Pickens and Northern Tuscaloosa Counties.

o   By midnight Friday counties along the I 20/59 corridor could see .08” of snow.

o   MAJOR ISSUE: Sleet and ice will be a problem across counties South of I 20/59 corridor beginning Friday evening as far South as Dallas County. Significant travel impacts are expected South of I 20/59 corridor. Mostly snow North of I 20/59. Mostly Freezing Rain and Sleet South of I 20/59 corridor down to U-S 80 corridor.

o   This will be a prolonged cold temperature event with temperatures near of below freezing and wind chills in the upper teens.

** Sleet/freezing rain as far as Choctaw, Clark and Wilcox Counties.

ICY CONDITIONS COULD LINGER INTO MONDAYIN SOME AREAS!
