It’s National Taco Day!

Free Tacos!!

Several Mexican food chains like Moe's Southwest Grill and  Chuy's Tex-Mex are giving away free tacos today in honor of National Taco Day, well most of them Except for Taco Bell. I guess Taco Bell decided to look out for your friend, their Taco Day promotion is  a bit different, the are selling "gift sets" where you can pay $5 to buy four tacos for a friend.

Even Cold Stone Creamery is celebrating National Taco Day by selling Ice Cream Tacos today only!

In honor of National Taco Day, you know I had to give you some stats of a survey, right?  .

1.  More than 95% of Americans say they like tacos . . . and 71% prefer tacos over burritos.

2.  Three-quarters of us eat tacos at least once a month.

3.  And the most popular taco meats are, in order:  Carne asada . . . barbacoa . . . chicken . . . pork . . . and chorizo.  The least popular meat?  Lengua (cow tongue) ....right.

I think in honor of National Taco Day, I'm going to make tacos tonight for dinner, how are you gong to celebrate National Taco Day?
