A-Day, which has always been a free event for fans to attend inside Bryant-Denny Stadium, will provide the first look for fans at the 2026 Alabama Crimson Tide football team, which is expected to look vastly different from the 2025 edition of the roster. Head coach Kalen DeBoer will lead the Crimson Tide as he enters his third season as Alabama's head coach after he was hired following Nick Saban's retirement in January 2024.

The 2026 Crimson Tide will feature a new quarterback for the second time under DeBoer after Ty Simpson declared for the NFL draft after one season as a starter in Tuscaloosa. The battle for Kalen DeBoer's third starting quarterback will take place between redshirt junior Austin Mack and redshirt freshman Keelon Russell. Alabama will also look to replace major production in other areas on offense, with six of the top seven offensive linemen from last season departing Alabama, whether via the NFL draft or the transfer portal, while the Crimson Tide also looks to replace the production of Germie Bernard (NFL draft) and Isaiah Horton (transfer portal) from last season. Additionally, Alabama will need to replace the production of starting running back Jam Miller, who departed for the NFL.

According to a release from the University of Alabama, the annual Denny Chimes ceremony, where the previous year's captains cement their hand and cleat print in Denny Chimes, will still take place. Ty Simpson, Deontae Lawson, Tim Keenan III, and Parker Brailsford were the Tide's 2025 captains.

More details around A-Day 2026 will be released at a later date.
