Alabama Center Finds New Home
The starting center for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Seth McLaughlin, has found a new home at Ohio State University.
McLaughlin has been under fire for his performance in the Rose Bowl as fans continue to critique issues with snapping the football. These issues have persisted throughout the season, seemingly with no solution in sight. They culminated following the Rose Bowl with McLaughlin meeting with head coach Nick Saban to announce his move into the transfer portal.
Following his move into the portal, he reportedly visited several powerhouse schools including Texas A&M and Ohio State. Head coach Ryan Day must have left a good impression as he reportedly met with McLaughlin and new transfer quarterback Will Howard for dinner.
The former starting center for the Crimson Tide was only in the portal for three days and entered only two days after Alabama's loss to Michigan. Now, joining the Buckeyes, McLaughlin will get a chance at retribution in the historic rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan.
