Bama Football Players Help Out at Animal Shelter
Sunday, after all the festivities that came with Alabama's annual A-Day game, a multitude of Alabama football players spent time volunteering at Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
Upton Bellenfant, Seth McLaughlin, Kadyn Proctor, Olaus Alinen, Miles McVay, and others spent time bathing dogs, making treats, doing dishes, organizing donations, and, of course, playing outside with all the dogs.
The Crimson Tide have a long-standing tradition of servitude within the Tuscaloosa community. Alabama's athletics department partners with the Alberta Head Start Unity Project, Habitat for Humanity, Project Angel Tree, and others.
Aditionally, the Sabans themselves famously bring the entire team out to build a new house for a family in need whenever they win a national championship.
