Former Alabama Wide Receiver Signs With Falcons
Former Alabama wide receiver Slade Bolden has signed with the Atlanta Falcons.
The move comes almost two weeks after it was reported that the Alabama alumnus was working out with the Falcons.
The La., native played four seasons at the Capstone, recording 68 receptions for 712 yards and four touchdowns, as well as 22 punt returns for 148 yards, six rush attempts for 11 yards, and one pass attempt for a touchdown.
He signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent shortly after the 2022 NFL Draft, however was placed on the injured reserve list in August of 2022 and was released in October.
The former national champion announced that he suffered a sports hernia that required surgery the week he was placed on the IR.
Bolden is a former three-star recruit from the class of 2018. He ranked No. 23 in the state of La., according to 247Sports Composite and came to the Capstone in the same class as Patrick Surtain II, Jaylen Waddle, and Josh Jobe.
Bolden joins former Tide teammate DeMarcco Hellams on the Atlanta roster, who was drafted by the team in the 2023 NFL Draft.
