Alabama Men's Basketball has just one representative at the NBA Combine: All-SEC player Mark Sears, who led the Crimson Tide in scoring during the 2023-2024 basketball season. Alabama had three players declared for the NBA, but Aaron Estrada and Jarin Stevenson did not receive invites to the NBA Combine, despite Estrada's strong performance during the NBA G LEague Elite Camp.

Measurements and scrimmage rosters are beginning to be released, and Sears's height is doing his draft stock no favors.

Mark Sears measured in at 5-feet-10 inches (roughly) tall, which would make him the third shortest active NBA player, behind Jacob Gilyard and Isaiah Thomas.

Sears is set to be on team St. Andrews for the combine scrimmage. He's the only point-guard on that roster, which could allow him to start for the team.

Another notable player on Team St. Andrews is Bronny James, son of future NBA Hall-of-Famer Lebron James.

If Sears (or Stevenson) wants to return to college, they have until May 29 to do so. Otherwise, they will forego the remainder of their eligibility and will enter the NBA, regardless of draft positioning.
