Coach Saban must have gotten all he wanted out of retirement already.

According to multiple reports, Nick Saban is joining the College Gameday team as a college football analyst on Saturdays.

Saban will join Desmond Howard, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Pat McAfee, and host Rece Davis on the weekly show that highlights the best games of the week.

Coach Saban has not given up his advisory role at Alabama, he will serve both that and on College Gameday.

One of the greatest minds in all of football will now get to share that knowledge with the public every week. Coach Saban will also be a part of ESPN's SEC Media Day and NFL Draft coverage.

Coach Saban's statement:

ESPN and College GameDay have played such an important role in the growth of college football, and I’m honored to have the opportunity to join their team. I’ll do my best to offer additional insights and perspectives to contribute to College GameDay, the ultimate Saturday tradition for college football fans.

A potential return to Tuscaloosa for Nick Saban could come in week five when Alabama hosts the Georgia Bulldogs.
