
Tuscaloosa County Advances to 7A State Title Game
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Tuscaloosa County Wildcats defeated Dothan 75-70 in overtime to advance to the state title game for the first time since 1993. The Wildcats are the only Tuscaloosa boys area team to advance to the state championship round.

The Wildcats overcame a five-point halftime deficit to force overtime.
Ford Traweek led Tuscaloosa County in scoring with 23, followed by Zi Davis with 20, and Tyler Noble with 18.
The Wildcats will face the winner of Hoover/Fairhope in the state championship game on March 7.
