With the NFL draft less than a week away, NFL teams are putting the final touches on their draft boards while quarterback-needy teams are finalizing workouts and doing the last bit of research on signal callers available in this year's draft.

Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe is one of those signal-callers, with Milroe having a jam-packed schedule just one week until the draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

What is an NFL team getting in the Crimson Tide signal caller, whose ceiling is as high as the sky when he plays at his best? Kalen DeBoer joined The Next Round and shared his thoughts on Jalen Milroe attending the NFL draft next week.

"Just the potential to go in the first round, but I think there's a reality that might not be. I know he's planning on going to the draft, one for the experience, but two, he's got a couple of other teammates that he really wants to support there that week as well. I think that's a tip of the cap to him there."

DeBoer also talked about Milroe's skill set and what led to inconsistencies last season for the Tide's offense.

"A lot of it, just like any other quarterback, is what's going on around you, too. The quarterback is gonna be the one that takes everything on," DeBoer said. "I tell our quarterbacks, 'If a kid drops the ball, that's on you. Catch it for him.' Just like everyone else, I'm putting it on the quarterback. It's on you. You gotta make that ball even more catchable than it was, even though he just flat out dropped it. There's a level that Jalen had that's a high ceiling. I think tapping into that, taking advantage of his strengths, and when he's at his best, your team can flourish. I think just building everything around what that skillset is that are his strengths, and continuing to develop things that he can improve on."

"He can spin it, there is no question that he can throw the football, and so now it's a matter of putting the right pieces around him, getting him in the comfortable moments, getting him in a groove, just like you would any other quarterback."
