James Fail said he put the hat on when people came calling for donations. Seems everybody wanted Mr. Fail's money, but never wanted to put his name on anything.

They laughed about the name. Mr. Fail ended up donating a million dollars to the U of A. The media room at the football office was chosen & Mr. Fail wanted it named after his father-in-law. So be it.

Mal Moore had a funny thought leaving Mr. Fail's office. When that media room was dedicated, Mal Moore said "for another million dollars we will name the visitors locker room after you". The FAIL ROOM at Bryant Denny. And so be it.

Since the locker room was officially named the FAIL ROOM in December 2008, the teams using it have a 98% failure rate!

The FAIL ROOM is living up to its name. So be it.
