What Alabama’s Nick Saban Just Did For First Time
Coach Nick Saban has been retired about two and a half months. The Sabans have reportedly spent most of that time at their home in Jupiter, Florida.
Coach Saban’s wife Miss Terry told ESPN that coach has done something for the first time ever.
He sent his very first e-mail.
“He’s actually texting and reading his own emails and sent his first ever e-mail,” Terry Saban told ESPN.
And there’s more. “He even took his first trip to the pharmacy to pick up his first prescription. He’s quite proud of himself.”
ESPN says Coach Saban is opening the door for deliveries and even opening the mail. It took retirement for Coach to make these lifestyle changes.
ESPN reports that Coach Saban’s office at Bryant Denny stadium has no windows. Alabama sports medicine director Jeff Allen Informed Saban that his new office is just steps away from the famous Rama Jama’s.
ESPN says Coach responded, “What is that place? Has it been there for a long time?”
There will certainly be more retirement lifestyle changes to come. And hopefully Miss Terry will tell us all about them.
