2026 Black History Maker of Alabama – Pastor Stanley Prince Jr.

Pastor Stanley Prince Jr. is a preacher, pastor, teacher, and servant-leader whose ministry reflects the deep spiritual roots and enduring legacy of Alabama’s Black community. Called to preach at just 13 years old, Rev. Prince has spent his life proclaiming the Gospel with conviction, compassion, and spiritual authority. His passion for God’s Word and his burden for souls continue to shape a ministry grounded in truth, love, and transformative power.

A devoted husband and father, Rev. Prince believes that strong families are the foundation of strong churches. He views his home as his first ministry, leading with faithfulness and integrity before ever stepping into the pulpit. As a pastor, he shepherds with biblical conviction and a genuine heart for people, consistently pointing others to the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Raised in Alabama, surrounded by a legacy of faith, resilience, and perseverance within the Black community, Rev. Prince understands that the Gospel has always been more than words spoken from a pulpit. It has been lived out in prayer meetings, in sanctuaries, through marches, and in everyday endurance. He sees Black history in Alabama as a living testimony of God’s sustaining power—proof that even in the darkest seasons, God remained faithful and mighty to deliver.

“Black history in Alabama matters because it reveals a people who prayed through pain, trusted God through trials, and watched Him turn suffering into strength, proving that our story is not just one of survival, but of divine deliverance.” - Rev. S. Prince Jr.

Rev. Prince’s preaching is marked by theological depth, exegetical faithfulness, and a prophetic awareness that connects Scripture to both historical struggle and present-day hope. His messages challenge believers toward obedience, spiritual maturity, and complete trust in God’s will.

Committed to continued growth, Rev. Prince is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministry from Anderson University. Through formal education and lifelong study of Scripture, he strives to rightly divide the Word of truth and lead with wisdom and integrity.

Above all, Pastor Stanley Prince Jr. is a servant of God whose life’s mission is to glorify Christ, honor the faith legacy of those who came before him, and guide others into the freedom, healing, purpose, and salvation found in Jesus Christ. His unwavering commitment to faith, family, and community makes him a meaningful Black History Maker of Alabama.
