"Thoughtout. Calculated. Racist," is how a man on TikTok described the trend in a video detailing the many times this so-called joke has been displayed on prom proposal signs across the country.

Tuscaloosa native and Comedian Steve Brown held back very few words when discussing this issue on The Big Dawg DreDay Show in the Morning.

"It's absolutely absurd and it's very disrespectful," Brown said.

"I'm calling out everybody who is a so-called black leader, you need to be making it known that this is not tolerable, it's very disrespectful," Brown continued.

"If you sit there quietly, it's showing who you really are. All of them need to step up when things like this happen."
